History
  The
project has been predominantly developed by women who have experience
of working in non traditional areas in a variety of fields (from Motor
Mechanics to Surveying) both in the industries and as lecturers in further
or higher education. In more recent years as the project team has grown,
additional expertise for instance in mentoring, has helped enhance the
work of the project activities.
 The
project originated in January 1998 with funding
from the NOW strand of the ESF ‘Employment’
initiative. During this time the project had
4 national partners and 4 European partners.
Let’s TWIST was highly successful and
a wealth of materials were produced during this
phase of the project which includes a number
of reports
